Just PC and emulators are really inefficient at the moment sadly. Especially awful on an old system like mine... PS2 emulators just about work!

I've not really looked at these games but tonight I played #3 on my sisters PS3 and really enjoyed it. I'm not in a position to buy a console but would like to know if these are available on PC.
Googling doesn't really give me much.
The combat looks as boring as ever. They are great games with a good story and characters, but the combat becomes really repetitive after a while. Looks like the new one is almost identical in this regard.
I'll probably pick up a PS4 when they released a slim version for a cheaper price at some point like I did with PS3.
Same here, can't deny the cinematic quality of the set pieces....but I felt like most of the game was just watching a pre-defined animation play out listening to a lot of grunting and heavy breathing.
TLOU though....pure classCan't wait for that sequel.
Thread title makes me laugh though. Unchartered 6 : When Accountants Go Bad
My Ocd is going crazy every time I see the thread title![]()
Couldn't agree with you more. I hope they leave it well alone.
But from a business perspective I don't see how they can. It'll sell like crazy. Which is a shame because I agree with all the points you made.
The Joel and Ellie story was so good and ended in such a perfect way that any additional games would just spoil it. But a Last of Us game without those two? Whilst I'm sure it would be a great game - it just wouldn't be the same. Eeeeh I don't know.
If they take money to tie themselves to one platform then that's their business but they're obviously going to miss out on the wider market and on the true potential of the game.
I do wonder though, how many people would only buy a PS because unchartered is PS-exclusive, or only buy an Xbox because Forza is X-box exclusive, it feels like marketing contrived flim-flam by Microsoft and Sony – money over art, sad but true.
Surely the developers and gamers would be better off it these supposedly-brilliant games were available to all gamers? As good as these games allegedly are, I know they could always be even better on PC (e.g. GTA 5 on console vs. PC). I’m sure they are being well paid for it but they are holding themselves back and are not contributing to the wider Gaming world. It’s like Leonardo da Vinci painting the Mona Lisa and then ensuring that only Italians were allowed to look at it! How sad, insular and small-minded.
