The universe will completely die in..

I watched those expansion videos anything I don't mind posted, what a load of rubbish. The thing is these guys simply don't have the understanding about half the things they talk about to convince anyone who is even half informed about what ever **** they happen to spout out of their mouths.

How about infant death? Or I take it they are going to be 'judged'.

What a load of horse ****! Go away.

Innocents cant be judged now can they as they have done no wrong. They will be saved.

As for remote tribes who have not heard of God as long as they lead a good life i am sure God will save them too!

@koolpc

Are flies judged?
Are wasps judged?
Are rats judged?

Where do you draw the line?

Chimpanzees?

Sorry to tell you that humans are not special. Were just another mutation on this tree of life.

I'd bet you haven't read too much about evolution. You should.

Oh noes, I'm going to die? :( I haven't done anything wrong, so if my life is taken, then I'll be making a complaint.

When God cleansed the earth the first time, got Noah to build that Ark and made it rain until all life was destroyed except for those on the Ark. Didn't God murder all the innocent? I'm sure all them babies that must have been victims, didn't deserve that

You're making the assumption that everything has to have a purpose. Does a stone have a purpose? Or a rock? Or did it just come to be, like the universe? Or us for that matter.

Yes, I do make the assumption that we are here for an unknown reason. Why wouldn't we be? The whole universe must serve a purpose in some way, otherwise I personally struggle to see the point of all of this ever coming to be.

No. He will send those to hell that deserve it. And those to heaven that deserve that.

Well in my eyes he's made a right balls up of it and should it happen will tell him so when I get my chance - frankly I don't want anything to do with this heaven place if ive got to meet some daft medieval belief

Being open-minded, and vehemently rejecting anything mainstream are not equivalent positions.

The mainstream views on the early universe, plate tectonics, and climate change are the mainstream because they're the most convincing explanations when considering the evidence.

Any youtube video suggesting otherwise might well convince you but spouting off about the mainstream being "fraudulent" is going to get you nowhere but called a tinhat-wearer.

Out of interest have you taken any courses on cosmology, atmospheric physics, or geology? If not please shut up about how wrong the "mainstream" is.

(P.S. I have taken courses on both cosmology and climate physics, and the arguments for the Big Bang and AGW are pretty convincing.)

(P.P.S. Interesting piece in the Guardian yesterday: Exxon knew of climate change in 1981, email says – but it funded deniers for 27 more years)

This - and I held my fingers after you wrote off the entire scientific community in favour of someone on youtube. have studied Astronomy, Cosmology, Astrobiology at Uni and there are many observable pieces of evidence that most scientists would suggest that a big bang was the main event that started this Universe. Whilst the Universe is expanding now yes I agree maybe something will happen we don't know about yet where it will contract one day and end up with another big bang event. Otherwise it will expand forever and the stars will die out. There are many things we don't know but that doesnt excuse people ignore what we observe and basically make something up.

You see, that is a post from someone who doesn't know religion. Someone who is lost to the world and doesn't know God. If you knew religion you wouldn't be asking those questions.

We are special because we have been created by God. Made in his image, have a Soul and his Son came to free us from our sins! We have free will.

This is what many Christians believe. If you dont want to believe it then that is fine. No problem. Its called 'Free Will'.

Not sure troll or serious, just in case serious a few questions.

Just out of curiosity what about the other 4000+ religions, are they fake or anymore insignificant than any other religion?

Christianity was and still can be a brutal and barbaric religion am I right?

I suppose its down to an individuals interpretation of said religion.

If heaven is full of people like you and hell is full of drug dealers and prostitutes.

Send me a one way ticket to hell baby!

Am not I just cannot fathom for the life of me why people follow such ancient beliefs.

ON TOPIC ;)

How can they say the universe will end, when they not even sure of the beginning.

I know it is suppose to be expanding rapidly by a unknown force etc. Expanding to where ? Universe or into the void?

I need to know what was there before the big bang, my logic is the universe!;)

Before our Universe you mean! Current models allow for multiple universes to exist and they could well interact with each other causing new universes to form from the activity (membranes mentioned earlier, for example). Alternatively, universes simply die out into a cold dark void as all the black hole engines in the centre of galaxies fade away and stars collapse leaving nothing behind but smaller black holes, which in turn fade away over tens and hundreds of trillions of years.

Fgere are many possible explanations, just not enough data to support one over the other 100% with today's technology.

Our problem is human minds are still not big thinkers in general, most folks have a hard time picturing a scenario where such things could exist or the sheer concept of it.

This is the bubble theory, as in we live in a multiverse that exist in what?

I proposed that to a friend along time ago while drunk. The big bang was no more than a universal bubble popping. :p

But what realm do these so called universal bubbles exist? The void, the blackness what?

And what if we could zoom out and look and that realm the bubbles exist in, would it look no more different than the universe we see today?

Its a Mandelbrot fractal, period! :p

The 'true' scenario as a whole is probably a concept that the human brain might never ever imagine, let alone comprehend.
