A colleague of mine has a Samsung GT-I8190N. Whenever she opens the browser on the phone it won't load up the page she wants, such as google.co.uk, but always goes to a page to sign into a wireless network. I think it is for Eurolines. I tried to set the homepage to Google.co.uk but the browser still redirects to the sign in page.

Does anyone have any idea where this setting is coming from and how to get rid of it so that the browser will go to the correct homepage?

probably forced through the wireless network.

sounds like its an open wireless network with a portal logon page that you either pay for or a corporate guest network.

if its not connected to the eurolines (national express) wireless then try forgetting the wireless network.

That's what I thought. This was at work and nowhere near this wireless network. I looked in her phone's wireless settings to find any likely culprits in terms of wireless networks. I'll get her phone to forget all the wireless networks save the work one and see if that helps.

Have you tried going into Settings -> Apps -> All apps and then finding the browser, force stopping it and then clearing the data to reset it?
