Man goes crazy in London as Ice Cream Van is towed away

When I was a kid, ice cream man came round every Sunday and a few evenings in the week during lighter nights after school. Everyone would be out buying something.

Now most times no one bothers, plus the fact kids don't play out any more in case the peados get them.
 
We had an ice cream van here earlier in year - first one to come anywhere near last three houses I have had - I did have a Mr Whippy but I do shun them ever since being at Midland Gamefair and watching a Mr Whippy man picking his nose for 5 min in a very slack moment. :(:(

I always wondered which chocolate bit was the bogey :eek::eek:

We have 2 that come down our street every day. I don't know why they even bother as hardly anyone buys anything, it's never hot enough to make you want one, they must waste more in fuel than they make from this street.

Will occasionally buy one of these or a zap :cool:

I have Rossi's Ice cream van doing a round where I live. Any competitor who dares to trespass sleeps with the fishes (so I hear) :p
 
I occasionally hear the tune playing somewhere that's not here, haven't actually seen an ice cream van in over a decade.
 
Our ice cream man changed his song and moved down the street but it's just to far to run without shoes on and I really wanted one... So I drove to him, abandoned ship in the middle of the road and he gave me the weirdest look as I was walking up to the van :rolleyes:

Despite being massively over priced for what he calls a "99" I did enjoy it :D
