i3 2120 hitting 66 celcius in game

Is 66 degrees celcius bad? i'm on a temporary rig and only have the stock intel cooler to use. in game i'm getting 66 i'm pretty sure thermal limit for these chips was 70

any advice welcome.

ordered some new thermal compound but didn't turn up today so can't try that till monday at the earliest.

think you might be right apparently 69 is the Tcase but 101 for the TJmax

What board are you using? You might be able to undervolt/lower the CPU voltage,esp if its on auto

And youll lower load CPU temps

Mate you can't do anything with this board lol. Like i said it's a temporary rig with a big green OEM motherboard in there lol
