Easiest way of getting sli profiles with absolutely no effort. Not a multi gpu gamer I see on the green side then 8pack? Shadow play is also vastly better than competing products too as the performance hit is sod all. My YouTube channel wouldn't exist without shafowplay.
 
ShadowPlay is one key reason GFE is so great. I can't think of any other tool that lets me record game sessions at 3440x1440 at 60fps with no performance hit on the game itself. Then just simply turn SP off when the game is finished.

Certainly not for benching but it is perfect for recording.

A small hit to performance and lets me record 4K 60fps and I would need something that costs thousands to do that externally. AMD really need to get to grips with this tech, as for people like me, it is massive.
 
There are plenty of alternatives for recording. A lot of these alternatives can be made to also almost have no impact. Those of us with Intel iGPUs can use it for encoding. Now im happy to see the support is here for those who like shadowplay and GFE, but im not touching it either. I prefer alternatives even if i have to tinker a little bit more. Now give me shadowplay without GFE please :)

I have played with quite a few and found DXTory to be very good but it does come at a performance penalty. On the TX, I thought I would record some Batman AK and was sitting in the same spot at 82 fps - Started recording and dropped to 72 fps. With SP, I was sitting at 80 fps. That is enough said for me.
 
So fare windows 10's own game capture has been fine.. but have only recorded lighter games.. gonna give it a go with something like bf4
 
Also Experience is needed if u wana stream games to a android box in ur living room to play games on ur big screen with a 360 pad attached to the box.
