If they did it because of where you were parked, buy a cheap caravan and park it there and leave it.

Well went around and got some quotes yesterday. Average price was around £1500.

A chap I know from previous work over the years offered to do it for £1000.

Looks like it'll be an insurance job!

Which BMW is it?

They could write the car off. You can then buy it back off them, repaint for £1000 and then re-sell.

2009 1 Series. I'd certainly wouldn't expect them to write it off for this.

Sickening to see this. I think I would end up in prison if I caught someone doing this to mine.
