White SUBOX finally arrived and I can report that it's pretty damn awesome.

Received it yesterday so took it out with me last night for a gig. Used the .5 ohms pre-made coil and it performs great at 24 watts. I put my "go to" juice in it: Vaping Kings MDV 666 and the flavour is awesome and clouds roll :) Happy customer.

Same coil has been in my Lemo2 and Subtank Mini RBA for about a week, I just rewick them and dry burn the crap off the coil when flavour starts to die off

So, do people rebuild the coil regularly or just rewick them?

How long do peoples coils last?

I am finding about a week or so on the subtank rba and it needs rebuilding, unsure if I need to do the coil everytime or just the wick........guess I can try just the wick. :)

Currently at 4 months in a spheroid, cant comment on the sub tanks.

Standard coils I recoil and rewick once a week, claptons i find last much longer, I have a clapton in my dripper that I have had for 3 weeks and it still tastes superb.

I must add that juice makes a big difference, thick creamy custard style juices and I usually rewick every 2 days and recoil every 4 or so.

I find it all depends on the coil.

In my experience;

- Smaller single strand coils will go 'orrible after a few days
- Big fat single coil builds will last probably a few days more
- Twisted coils will last many times longer than the above
- Claptons will last an absolute age

But even then, depends on what power you're chucking through them, type of juice, how much you vape etc

Snow wolf + 2 new 25R's ordered last night, along with plenty of ni200 and kanthal. Fingers crossed it gets delivered tomorrow :)

About to mix up a few batches;

- Blueberry
- Some more jungle juice as it's an awesome ADV and a damned cheap mix to boot

just gonna leave this here...

Yuck....

Double Yuck...

Sometimes I really question people's taste... Or is it me that needs to see a GP about my taste buds.. :)

I'm exactly the same. Heisenberg was raved about, I had two toots and the rest went back in the bottle and the coil nuked from orbit. It's awful. Pinkman has an awful chemical aftertaste too it and is far too sweet. Bat Juice didn't even get opened as I'd lost all hope.

I'm stuck on the Element range at the minute: Key Lime Cookie, Pink Lemonade, Fresh Squeeze, Watermelon Chill and Frost are all amazing. Still got Zen to go yet.

Tank wise, ain't you already got a load of sub tanks? They all pretty much vape the same.. The only one I found different and replaced when I cracked the first one, was the isub.. It's 15 pounds, cheap as chips and the air flow in that is massive..

It's not an all day vape for me, once in a while, I don't find it over powering in flavour anyhow, I have 3 30ml bottles of Heisenberg left, gone right off it, use it now to dilute other juices I don't like to see what I get :D

I do, I have 3 subtank minis, a subtank nano and an Atlantis 2, only the Atlantis will let me chain vape my prefered high vg juices, but it's bloody massive and gets extremely hot around the base. I've seen you mention the isub a few times, for the price I might as well grab one to try.

Ultimately I need to stop being lazy and get back on the dripper.

Try something a bit different.. like the squape r/rs, flash evapor, taifun gt2.. heck even a goblin mini, billow... I'm liking a much tigher draw at the moment and not used a sub tank in weeks.

The isub is the perfect tank for be placed on a cheap mod for nights out.. 15 pounds, that's a tenth of a high end atty. :)

I think the iStick 40W has an issue with dual coils in TC mode. Vaping a subtank with a NI200 0.08 ohm coil, it's fine. Stick a dual coil NI200 0.1 ohm build in my derringer that works fine on my SX-Mini M-Class and VT40, and the iStick gets mega hot really fast. After 5 puffs it was too hot to hold comfortably.

For single coils it seems to be fine apart from the TC wandering around. When I first put a new tank on it 200C is a good temperature but after a few hours I have to crank it up to 270C to get the same vapour and flavour. Not sure what's going on with it to be honest.

I still like it and still recommend it despite it's flaws.

Don't laugh but I'm happy with the above: (

This is where I am happy with, total cost is £30 it's a Vision Spinner II with a Kangertech T3'D tried an I Stick and a subbox setup but they feel big and uncomfortable been a heavy smoker for 10 years I like the stick type batteries, have an Kanger Aerotank but feels too bulky. Got some new Kangertech coils too.

Smoked Menthol tip rollups and have tried around 20 different types of flavour I enjoy water Mellon but menthol is the best for me it really feels like I am smoking a rollup and it been 6 weeks since I last touched one, it's worked perfect for me :)

try the nature vapes coils mate, they are more expensive than the kanger ones but they are worth it.. you can recotton them several times. and they make any kanger tank much better.

The best device is the one that keeps you off the cigarettes -

it doesn't matter what it costs, how it looks, or if it's cutting edge technology,

well done on the six-week milestone!

Yeah, i tried Hesienberg for a day and thought it was ok, probably due to the novelty. Next day i couldn't stand it, tastes like disinfectant. Pinkman is gross too, tastes like undiluted pound shop Blackcurrant squash.

Might snap up an isub on my next order then!

I have been looking at RTA's, but tbh I'm not prepared to spend £100+ on one knowing I might not take to it! I have a quite decent KFV4 clone, while its a nice vape, the absolute ordeal to fill the thing up is off putting, shut off liquid, remove from mod, unscrew bottom, make sure the right thing is turning the right way :p

I was actually looking at the Goliath, the Goblin mini the better of the two?

Oh, finally wicked the RBA+, insanely easy to do, wicks like a champ, tastes beaut. Going to fire a big ol' wire order in tonight and try move away from the pre made coils.

Thank you will take a look at these once mine run out bought a pack of 5 Kanger coils so should last me a few months hopefully!

My body feels amazing, am quite active anyway play a bit of sport and gym etc but wow what a difference vaping does, it's made me a much calmer person and more chilled out, plus not smelling disgusting is a massive bonus lol. So many good factors;

Skin is much healthier, nails hair etc shine and grow better, tongue is not stained clothes and breath always smell fresh, mood is better, sleep is much better, sex drive is better, no tight chest and coughing..... Honestly the list goes on and on.

I am glad I got given basic ego t to use for a week and it was perfect, I have tried a few expensive tanks but it feels strange maybe time will change that and I will get modding but my spinner is perfect for me :)

Thank you for the encouragement. :)

Don't get a kf4 clone, they are rubbish; I got one and it's not seen the light of day, it's either leaking or dry hitting. Total waste of money! The threads stick too and it's always coming apart at the wrong place. A lot of people have given up with their KF4s, even the authenics, the springs don't handle high wattage well.

I have neither tanks, but i will be getting a goblin mini at some point, 25 pounds UK, 17 pounds import.. It's worth getting one just to see.

The reason why most people's go to tank is the squape r or r is that it's very customisable in they way it vapes. You have 6 different airflow settings which does affect the airflow. 5 different decks for different coils and wick.. You can have the full massive r tank, full metal s tank or the r tank which is metal, windowed and short. If you can't find a combination that you like from all the different setups, you don't like RTAs. Yes it's a lot of money, but the resell value is about £90 for just a tank and a deck, also it can be swapped for another high end RTA if needed. Really; if you make that step using lesser tanks just upsets you. Lol. I was using a nautilus mini today, new coil, 5 pawns.. Yes; it was a good vape.. But you just know.. :)

edit: one thing that does drive me crazy about the squape is the 510 pin!!! Agghhhh!
