Does anyone on here ride horses?

Just wear some normal stuff and then if you really get into it buy the full regalia... it's not like they wont let you near a horse without the correct uniform or whatever!

I can trot around and not fall off, but it is pretty expensive to learn to do it well.
It is a great hobby if you have the money to get into it, and there is a lot of events to compete in if you fancy doing that.
Full of wimmins too.

Used to ride between the ages of about 5 and 10 as my mum has horses and her friends compete but I haven't much since, only some trails on holiday in California.
More into horsepower now :D

I used to about 10 years ago when I was like 12 or 13. My aunt has always kept horses and I used to go help muck out and go out for a ride. Was quite enjoyable way to spend an afternoon actually.

This thread just reminded me of the Rubberbandits Horse Outside song, pretty funny if you look it up as too rude to post! :)

The GF has some horses, it is a time consuming hobby & can get expensive especially if you get landed with a nice vet bill.

As it stands it takes up her entire Saturday afternoon & a few nights during the week.

Other half has an old race horse, he's lovely, despite being a bit stubborn! Used to ride her old shire cob and he was lovely too, was like driving a tank made of flesh :P
