Don't think you'll get close to that. I am seeing talk of 10K overs but that is for cars that aren't delivered yet. Don't forget that all the 918 owners had first refusal on GT4 and GT3 RS and I know of a few 918 owners who are taking one or both and I think there are circa 70 918's in the UK. I would not expect them to take them for long however and they will turn up on the 2nd hand market fairly soon or be spun back to the OPC list. There is also noise about an RS version and a Gen 2 with PDK so soon as those start to become clearer early next year people will order and bail from the GT4's they have. Porsche are also building more than planned I believe, so suspect this will dilute the current overs and when rates start to rise as they will shortly the overs market will align I feel.

you may well be right, to be honest if I can run it for some time and get my money back I would be happy, by that time the GTS will fall into my price range or I may just go all out and buy something a bit crazy.

White is so standard and boring for a car like a Cayman in my opinion, the extra colour just makes it look even better than white ever could, no matter whether it's red, yellow or blue.

well looking at the poll it seems Red is more popular, I like the idea of the yellow exterior but the red stitching/carbon/black will look amazing.

So with that in mind I have placed the order for red with the carbon bucket seats, thanks for the feedback I was really considering the white but there seems to be very little love for it. Its a hard choice because I liked both red and yellow equally.

I think it's a safe place to go, just not a money maker for much longer.

White cars disgust me but they sell like hot cakes so surely that is your best bet?

Usually because 'Recession White' is one of the cheapest options and/or has a shorter wait time - on a premium marque less of a factor I think. My wife has a white car, not because it was our favourite colour, but because it cost less than the other colours that were available on that exact model.

White looks great if you love your car and keep it clean, but I don't think it's a sporty colour that would go with a car like this.

So you actually picked the colour based on the poll results?

Well I could not decide between yellow and red and the car will be sold on soon so I was happy to go with which ever is more popular.

The silver works well too, don't discount that...

I have a GT Silver car now and chances are I will keep that also so I would rather something a bit different and loud.

Looks an awesome car.

I do find the Porsche options list OTT though.
Porsche Communication Management (PCM) : £2.5k, but then you need to also add Mobile phone preparation for an additional £450. err you just paid over 2k for Comms management - why is the phone prep not included !?!?
Then there is £1.1k of interior options which are standard on pretty basic superminis.

Take all of my money !!
