I get 82 degrees after an hour of Realbench. Is that temp reasonable for such an expensive cooler? Its 1.272v.

Edit:
I tried 4.7GHz using 1.32v and the temps max at 91 degrees. Is it worth delidding this chip? I read you can reduce by around 10 degrees.

Yep, 82c is pretty ok at that speed with that cooler. Get 83 max at 4.7 here on 1.300v with a dual tower k2 air cooler.

Water be it custom or aio don't make a big difference over air on haswell. Particularly if running any kind of stress test. Real bench being the safest to use. Fire up the latest p95 or Intel burn test, at stock speed your temps will be in the 90's no matter what cooler you use.

Temps in normal use for me are usually mid to high 60's. But both 4790k's I've owned have hit the mid 90's at stock using p95 ver 28.5.

Mine in normal use (I mean gaming :p) are high 50's and low 60's and then mid 70's in stress. Took the OC off though as i can't notice it and just pop it on for benchmarks

Idle temps with my 4790k @4700 1.30v + H105 (2 SP120 QE Push +2 AF120 QE Pull) are around 29-33. Games push it to around 60 and several hours of h264 encoding to around 70-75. It did hit 80 when encoding while we had that really hot few days

Oh ok haha, I thought that was a bit much !

Well tbh mate, when I first got the 4790k I had to use the stock cooler for a few days until I got new thermal paste. Idle temps with it were in the 50's. Absolutely terrible excuse for a cooler. Think I broke a record for cooler installation when I got new paste in.:D

Can't believe theirs no reviews of the H110i GTX v the H110i GT yet..

From what ive seen from youtuber's benchmark's they are pretty much even but you can run the fans on the H110i slower, so less noise. I've wondered since the release of the new coolers why the H110i is a GT and why the H100i is a GTX.
