Ocuk's forum software vbulletin seems to be several years old, are there any plans to upgrade to a modern bulletin board software soon?

I believe it has been said many times that there are no plans to improve/change the forum software.

I stand to be corrected.
 
This has come up before and apparently people enjoy database issues in peak periods and the "go to first new post" button not working in even the loosest sense of the word "work".
