Devolo dLAN Powerline 1200 Plus with WiFi AC - Any feedback/reviews?

Howdy.

So I pay for 240mb broadband, which I rarely get, but that's another issue.

However my office/Desktop is upstairs where I use an old TP Link 500Mb powerline adaptor and regularly have latency issues and average speeds of 20-30 Mbs.

So I'm upgrading to Devolo dLAN Powerline 1200 Plus with WiFi AC for the improved speed rating 1200 Mbs rated ( I assume I won't get that but at least I should get better than 20-30 Mbs).

Any thoughts on the Devolo kit and the 1200mbs rating? What's your experience been?

Go with ethernet if you can.

I've got them and get my full 60Mb over ethernet, but don't use them for wifi as I just get constant dropouts.

Do you have ADSL/VDSL? They interfere with that you know.

I rent my house so tearing up walls to run ethernet cables upstairs isn't really an option.

I will certainly run plenty of ethernet ports and electrical sockets when/if I ever buy my own house.
