I thought everyone knew that Edward was a Nazi sympathiser? A very popular past time in the 30's I believe.

There's a vast difference between going on record as an anti-Semite and instigating the 'final solution' though, isn't there?

If words are actions then quite a few people on here should probably be locked up for their beliefs about Muslims and homosexuals.

The point I was making was that he wasn't alone in disliking the Jews. At the time, that wasn't unusual - even among the British Aristocracy.

What was unusual was his "solution", but they didn't know what that was until much later.
