Thinking of switching over to water cooling.

Loop should work. The only way it could work unless you run it backwards. That's a tiny little res :D

This hardline or soft? (Haven't read the rest of the thread)

Soft tubing, yeah the res was a little smaller than I planned - but seems ok!.

managed to squeeze in the last fan on the top res just about so looks far more complete.

Going with clear tubing & red fluid, one of my tube orders didnt arrive so I've had to make the loop as small as possible to keep it within 2m.

All I'm going to say is have fun with them bends, I had so much trouble getting my bends to go where I wanted as they like to go straight!

I would have gone for the 140 version of that combo personally.

Same colour as my build was :p

Hehe, got the hose installed really easily actually, quite surprising tbh. The bottom GPU hose is easier than I thought as the EK link has a side exit, so the worst bend is actually nowhere near as bad now!.

XSPC HighFlex Hose I used in the end, everything else wouldn't have arrived today!.

Just need to add my GPU's then start the leak test!

By the by I have a 140mm (4cm longer) tube for that res sitting around here doing absolutely nothing except get in the way. If you want it, it's yours.

I'd be wary of the XSPC hose and it has a reputation for leeching plasticiser that gunks up your blocks and discolours your fluid.

Agreed, I purchased some a while back just to use for messing around as it was cheap. It isn't to clear either, looks fairly cloudy. The Primochill tubing is much better.

I would also get a bigger tube for the res, fills up some of that empty space. Either go with Disco_P's offer, or get yourself the the 200mm version, costs around £12. I just purchased one for my new build, looks ace :D

Also, Whats going on with the front 200m fans? Could you not put 3 120mm fans in place? You would get better performance.

Looks good and I have the titan x blocks and backplates for my system and they look awesome. Take a look at EK's pastel red coolant aswell, looks really good. Better than the blood red.

Wish my other wc parts would hurry up :(.

Thanks for the offer for the res top, but I'll likely replace the whole top with something white which matches the rest of the gear (or use some something paint/dye another top.

Still have to do a full test for leakage along with further down the line add in two backplates. I think I'll also add in 2 90 degree joints from the pump to the GPU also.

Then it will be a case of getting matching white material cables & replace that ugly SLI bridge to finish off.

Cheers for all the tips so far guys.

Looking good. You can even see the res in that picture, it's tiny! !

I think I would have gone for a pastel blue, that would have looked good with the blue fans, White mobo and fittings.

Doing my bleed test now, having a right pain getting it all working fine (seems some of the power connections don't like being pushed around the back & twisted (Too much pressure & causing them to ride out slightly).

Lesson learned, if I was a perfect inside then the V71 isn't big enough for x2 GPU & 2 320m RADS for perfect cable management.

Leak test completed & seems to be fine.

My only concern is one of the fittings for the outlet from the pump, I have to take a couple of sharpish turns to navigate towards the GPU's & obviously this results in pressure on the tube (all my other fittings there is some slack on the cable).

Just how secure are the monsoon pressure fittings - are they enough to withstand some pressure from a flexible tube?, I've attacked cable ties to the tube in the hidden area hooking it to the side of the case to relieve some of the pressure on the actual connecting joints but unsure if I should consider anything else as a safety precaution.

This is my first dab so still a little uneasy!, anything I can do to 'double up' to prevent leaks/tubes popping out of fittings & I'm keen on it. If possible I'd prefer not to drain/redo the loop so was looking at further securing the bends (even less pressure on the joins) - extra tightening on the fittings & maybe some teflon tape on the two hidden fittings which concern me?.

I'm currently using the XSPC High flex hose - Internal diameter - 10mm.

How much more secure would it be to switch to Primochill Primoflex Advanced 9,5 mm, as that slight reduction in diamer would mean I'd have to stretch the fittings on more, the downside is the external diameter is slightly smaller (meaning the compression fittings won't be on as tight).
