Anyone had an Npower smartmeter fitted yet?

Just interested to know if anyone has and if they are any good? Anything to watch out for etc?

Been given a fitting date for mine. I have an owl electric meter which seems very good and reliable.

One word of advice - make sure the first thing you do is offer the fitter tea and biscuits. I have it on good authority they work better if you do.

That works with builders also

Our meters are supposed to replaced sometime this year. Npower have not given me a date yet though. Although they have just done the cavity wall insulation.

Make sure he gives you a card with closing and opening meter readings on. The bloke who changed my meter (normal meter not smart) didn't give me a card. He seemed like a right **** and didn't want to be there.
