NVIDIA is assisting Konami with the PC version of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and it appears that the game will be bundled with NVIDIA’s GeForce graphics cards.

Leaked by Reddit and subsequently confirmed by Newegg, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will replace Batman: Arkham Knight in NVIDIA’s promotional deal.

Newegg’s support wrote:

“Hi everyone! We had a little slip up and posted this deal ahead of schedule. It is not currently available, but stay tuned, it will be soon! Newegg Support -Tori”

While Newegg support did not detail what GPU models will be featured in the bundle, it can be assumed that they will be similar to the Batman Arkham Knight deal, and that the game will be bundled with the GeForce GTX 970, GTX 980 and GTX 980Ti, and quite likely the Titan X.

I love the MGS series... I was super hyped for this. Luckily its using the Fox engine and I don't think it will contain any of the poison that is Gameworks (any confirmation?). I hope TWIMTBP isn't a sticker of death on this game like it is on some others, really looking forward to this.
