NVIDIA to Bundle Metal Gear Solid V with GeForce GPUs

Don't get why there is so much negativity going about towards it while I can understand to some extent because Nvidia, however MGSGZ (Ground Zeroes) which came out on steam some months back was a great success as far as a port goes, it was definitely one of the best ports I've played in the past years overall it wasn't a bad "demo" at all it was very well polished, the new Fox engine is great. It will all depend on how much Nvidia are actually involved with the Steam version itself but have some faith that it isn't too much.
 
Going by the recent history of Nvidia TWIMTBP titles then it's probably going to be a complete flop. That said, I really do hope it's good. I don't think Gameworks is the issue at all as people think, it's just lazy developers using it as a cop-out instead of an enhancement. Although i'm not not a fan of this proprietary nonsense.

Recent history? WB and rocksteady knew that game was broken a long time ago. That's the only NVIDIA branded game I've ever played that was broken and its broken regardless of GW turned on or off. The witcher runs fine, dying light was fine as well and neither were flops. Probably the best two games I've played this year. This game is pretty much done now and if it does have GW in it, it will be an extra layer on top of an already brilliant looking game. You're right that its being made into an issue but more from the internet than devs

Dying light was HARDLY "fine" Turning the draw distance up to anything over 25% destroyed most cards, and it was terrible with multiple cards for quite a long time. Hairworks in the witcher 3 using unneeded amounts of tessellation crippling both AMD and Kepler cards is also hardly fine in my eyes.

I turned up the draw distance past that on a single 780 @1400p and it was fine. Crossfire/sli is driver dependant.If you dont like a feature/cant run it...turn it off. What you are saying is a certain feature of that game didnt work well for you...I'm saying those games were not broken. They wernt.

I think you are getting confused over a demanding game and a broken one :)

I woudn't worry too much, it will probally be on some sale for a couple of pounds within a year, just like the previous Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance I bought on the cheap.

Hi,

I put my pre-order in for 2 Inno3d black yesterday with OCUK after they announced they were coming next week and can see this is now one of the cards that come with the promo. Do I still get the game?
