Not really, the back wheels require a pivot in the boot so under cornering the lateral forces will be destroying the inside of the boot, possibly worse.

Considering the back is so weighed down, it would take him ages to stop because the front wheels wouldn't really do much. must have taken a lot of effort to actually hook that up though.
The car with van in/on the back is actually being towed by the car in front. Safe to say both the towed vehicles are scrap and he cares little about what effect it has on the boot of the car
There's a hell of a lot of cars towing caravans, that have rear suspension that seems completely unsuitable for the job... where the rear tyres are almost completely up in the arches. I'm sure that's not safe.
