I am after a 4 port USB charger to charge my game controllers and headset. So I have 2 x PS3(On Dock) 1 x PS4 and 1 x Playstation Stereo Headset. Now I believe they require 900ma to charge correctly and I am after a 4 port charging plug.

So my question is... I am struggling to find a 4 port charger with 1a per port. If I buy a charger with 2 x 1a and 2 x 2.1a will all the ports charge correctly? Will the 2.1a ports charge the devices quicker? Is it safe? Will it kill my batteries over time?

Any help would be appreciated and if anyone has purchased a 4x1a USB Charging plug please let me know and where to get one from.

:)

Most mutli USB chargers these days will be able to go up to 2.4a per port as that's the most used by mobile devices unless you're talking about Qualcomm quick charge enabled stuff but that's not relevant.
Using a port which can provide a higher amperage will not damage your devices as they will only draw what they require.

Well mine worked ok.. For some odd reason my PS3 controller doesn't look like its charging, which is strange because my headset charges fine as does both my PS4 controllers, maybe its duff. But other than that I just have to tidy my cables and its all sorted.
