Unexpected USB performance Asus Motherboard?

Motherboard: Asus X99-A U3.1
BIOS:18.01 (Default USB Bios Settings)
OS:Win 10 TP
Testing Device: Kingston 32GB Datatraveler Micro 3.1.
Drivers: Standard Win 10 TP
No other devices connected to the USB ports (save mouse and keyboard in USB 2.0)

So the fastest port, (for the tested device) is the intel internal 3.0 usb header, its faster than the rear intel 3.0 ports and the ASMedia 3.1 ports...very odd

none intel = bad form my expereince.

Was samer with sata 3 on x58 boards. the none intel sata 3 was slower than the intel sata 2.

hah yea I found that on 1556 platform all the sata 3 chips were slower than the sata 2 no idea how they get away with this kind of thing it's false advertising.
