Windows 10 - GWX not showing up on new 8.1 Pro OEM build!

topic! I tried all the suggestions and fixes and NOTHING works

HELP! I have all the KB installed and still nothing. Used the cmd file from dropbox and still nothing!

Not sure what to do now. The odd thing is that the GWX folder is there and the icon does not show in taskbar but it does show when configuring notifications to hide/show, but still does not open or show on taskbar! What on earth is going on?

Hmmm did GWX showed in Task Manager's background processes?

Did you have both required KB3035583 and KB2976978 installed?

What default browser do you used?

Is Internet Explorer 11 on or off in Programs and Features/Turn Windows features on or off?

The first KB file is installed and pretty sure the second is! Chrome is the default browser and IE11 is turned on.

I had to re-install to get mine to show in the end.

People reported IE11 turned on as icon didn't showed up and they tried turned it off and on again caused icon showed up.

Worth a try.

Hi all! I managed to fix it by clicking run on all the GWX scheduler tasks... I mean ALL of them. It seems to be the only thing that fixed it! I also used the batch file at the same time, but when I did each process individually it didn't work so I expect it was a combination of the two that did it!
