how do you get your music?

Spotify free and youtube mainly...

I charity shopped most of my CDs the other week. They have been in a box since I moved 3 years ago. Never played a CD in the current house ever. Kind of weird as my whole teenage and early 20s was documented there.

Student discount :confused::confused:

I have managed to use Spotify Premium for 2+ years for free now, I was bought a Spotify pre paid card for my birthday which covered 6 months, then Christmas I got another one. As I signed up to VodaFone sim only I got another 12 months for free.

Hoping when I am due to either stay on Voda or move I can find some other deal that will get me free service for a while.

If you work it out, its about £120 a year for Spotify, when I was buying CD's at times, I could spend 50 - 80 quid in one trip when I was scooping up the albums I was after.

YouTube mainly but really need to start buying digitally as YouTube quality sucks. Might give Spotify premium a try as it is supposedly 320kbps.

Yeah, when I was an OU student, I got a discount through some website called unidays. Half price from a tenner to a fiver. I've left the OU now but they haven't clocked on so I'm still only paying a fiver.

This, it lasts a year though then it goes back to £9.99 without telling you. Well mine did but if you use the same code you can just add on another year.

Would love to know if they half price the family add ons too :D

I have a fairly extensive music collection that are CDs, however nowadays because most new music (at least the stuff that you'll casually hear on the radio) is **** i'll buy the odd track through iTunes.
