I actually don't think that's unreasonable. Two wasps could mean more and a likelihood of the surveyor getting stung (which OP would be liable for).

Maybe not, but then accepting the job and not turning up to do it on 3 occasions is not acceptable. The op may have had to take time off work for those three appointments.

Through in no contact from the office so say "sorry we wont make it today, Fred has broken his leg" just about sums up an appalling company who deserve bad feedback.

I agree that part is bad service. I was only referring to the wasp incident.
