Bear in mind your ambient temp is nearly 80 so given that you are doing ok with those temps and clocks - that said it would be best for day to day to maybe clock down a little to ease temps especially in hot weather for chip longevity.

Thanks all. Grateful for the advice! Since my last post I've noticed more air bubbles working their way through the system. Need to top up the reservoir more I think. It's almost full but some air left near the intake.

Also it's odd that the rads are cold to the touch! Would have thought they would at least be luke warm?

Sorry meant to reply to this earlier! Well I have 2x480. Bottom rad in push pull and top rad in pull on top of rad/case. If you're getting better results with only 240's surely something's wrong? Can you do a quick IBT run for me and list your core temps? I'd be very grateful

Sorry should have put on my post, that was using real bench stress test.

You are using more v core than i, my temps start to ramp up in to the low 80's when using 1.3 core

I managed to decrease temps by 10-15c by lowering clock to 4.6 and voltage to 1.245 volts! Still not what I expected but much better. Highest temps on IBT with ambient temp of 24.5c had a max temp 71c.

If stable I would say that is excellent - my 5960 wont even do 4.6.

Wasn't stable unfortunately so had to up to 1.25v now. Currently stress testing with realbench!

I'd say anything under 1.3v and stable is a win for those clocks. Your temps look good as well.

Do i win a cookie then for having mine stable at 1.25v and 4.6Ghz then?

Loving this 5820k

Had it up to 4.8Ghz so far at 1.35v. Once you reach a certain level though, you starting needing to put too much voltage through.

I think ill stick with 4.6Ghz and 1.25v for 24/7 usage though

Managed to get it to 4.6GHz on 1.25v so far! Not tried hard testing. Will try tomorrow

This was by using Asus Suite 3 with the 1.25v cap. So Asus suite tried to get it stable at the maximum possible speed at that voltage. It's seems to have clocked my RAM down to 2400 from 2800 though

I tried the bios OC but nothing was stable for me. I obviously have no idea what I'm doing

Quick edit - forgot to mention temps! 26c ambient room (quite a few computers running in here!) IBT max temp was 67c on one of the cores, which ain't too bad I guess. I've yet to run 2 hours of realbench though so it might not be stable!
