I am smoking more than I ever did. Around 20 - 25 roll ups a day.

Used to use 3 ego battery and 2 pro tank 2, but they all packed up, leaked or stopped working. Batteries not making connection blah blah

So looking for something mid range that is easy to use and run, I don't mind what style or size.

I would go for an istick 50w and a silo tank..

£65 pounds in total... you may be able to get them from else where...
but your looking at more battery life than all three of your egos together x2

Juice wise, your on your own there bud... the only menthol that I have in my regular collection is Cherry bomb which is a weaker flavor of red astaire..

Had the Triton tank now for a week with the stock 0.4 ohm coil

I find that its better than the subtank for flavour and vapour.

Top filling is great with no leaks except when i tried to vape in filling mode :p

It's easy to forget that, maybe some sort of colour change near the tip would help.

That 3.5ml tank though - terrible. If your sub ohming DTL you'll probably finish 60% of the capacity in a single 5 minute sitting.

I'd recommend this over the subtank mini but only if you didn't have a subtank already. Bearing in mind I've not tried the vertical coils for the subtank yet or got access to the improved RBA section

Will be ordering the RTA tomorrow for the Triton once it's in stock someplace. @slinxy I haven't forgotten mate I'll update you as soon as I know.

On a sidenote I absolutely love Key Lime Cookie by Elements. Will order a large bottle of that next time :)

I think I suss out the best way of refilling the goblin mini without juice leaking everywhere after.

Airflow closed, finger tight over the driptip, don't squeeze too hard as you fill the tank up. You'll feel the pressure of the finger as you squeeze..

uncover driptip, on to the mod then open the afc.

no more juice everywhere.

EDIT: well my mini goblin just leaked on me.. first time I had it out of the house; went to work and it was leaked... must be a fair weather tank.

Thanks mate. Ordering tomorrow!

My IpV2 has packed in, can't complain 8 months worth of use and abuse.

Just ordered myself a Sigelli Mini 30W, not bad at £30 from myepack. I never go above 25W so I don't need a big expensive thing.

I've got a Triton and the RBA section arriving today (hopefully). Will let you know how it is.

It does come with a charger right ?

And what brand do people recommend for juice ?

Yeah that charges via USB Jim, Can't remember off the top of my head if it comes with a wall adaptor or not, I don't think it does. But you do get a USB lead.

As for juice, what do you like?

Isn't the 100w istick tc? Sure I read somewhere it will do 40w in tc mode. If that's true it's a shame, after a weekend bouncing between my ipv4 and the tc40, the tc40 needs a touch more headroom on wattage for me, worked out the best vape on the ipv4 with this build was 24j, working out around 55-60w.

It doesn't have an in-situ battery, but you could always go for the Sigelei 75w TC, mine is running well though i haven't gotten around to building any TC coils just yet!

just has a quick look at the details of the 100w, it did interest me.

From what I can get from their site, there's no TC on it... with it being 100w it very likely going to be serial battery setup, it has a 1amp built in charger which I would suggest NOT to use. In my eyes charaging anything up when in serial format is a big no no.. hence the removable battery. but like all dual battery setup, the batteries should be paired and married to the mod and not used in other devices.

not sure on this one at all..

ELeaf iStick 40w TC. Talk to me. Any good?

Quite tempted by one...

Got two of them. Decent for the price but there are two issues that may or may not be a deal breaker for you.

1 - The display is unreadable outside
2 - In TC mode, the measured resistance wanders causing the temperature settings to go off. You start vaping in the morning at 220C and by the afternoon you're at 300C for the same vape. I contacted eLeaf and they say that this is normal and is there to protect the life of the coil. Makes me wonder why they bothered putting a resistance lock on the device in the first place if it does nothing.

Ignoring those issues, they are great little devices. Nicer to use than the 30W and look better with the tank not jutting out. I'm just using them as normal 40W devices without TC.

Kind of given up on TC. Too much faff for no appreciable gain.

Thanks bud...

Invert it close the airflow, when you fill it leave a small bubble of air (don't fill the tank completely), turn it the right way round let it sit for about 5 minutes.

Open the airflow and away you go :)

When I wick it the cotton is just touching at the top of the juice channels.

I do get some condensation on the mod and base of the atty though, which I assume is from the heat it generates, running it dual coil with nickel at 0.07 ohms.

Cheers all

I'm waiting for the ipv d2 which is due this week, supports nickel and titanium, 75w/50J and uses a chip I know I'll get on with :)

Becoming quite a fan of tc, pushing as build to its absolute limit without being worried about a rancid dry hit :D

I guess watermelon and methol was what I used before and enjoyed. Which is a good brand to go for ?

just been out for another vape, and juice just leaked everywhere... to me it's a carry about atty... shame as I really brought it as a knock about atty.

So, Triton turned up.

I stuck the 0.4 ohm coil in there, filled it up and let her rip. Currently vaping at 50W with pretty amazing vapour production for a pre-built coil tank. Flavour is OK too.

Observations:

RBA section is too small to get a ni200 build inside. Interesting design though and I'm keen to put a build in there. At work at the moment and don't have my coiling gear with me so this will have to wait until I get home.

Tank is too small. At 50W I burned through a tank of juice in 5 minutes. Definitely need to take spare juice with you if this is your all day tank.

Ratings on the coils are odd. The 0.4 ohm coil is rated at 25 - 30W but at these settings they produce hardly any vapour and no flavour. It starts to get good at 40W and at the moment 50W seems to be my sweet spot. I'll crank it up further once the coil is bedded in.

God knows how you are supposed to clean this tank. There is absolutely no way to get inside it...

Airflow control on the driptip base is interesting but I doubt I'll use it.

There's a mini stick going in ukv, last time I looked, with the extender too so you can have 18650s in it.

I do like my micro stick, shame that the heads are rounded on it and I can't return it to 18350 mod... I got a leather case for it too..

Edit:
http://ukvapers.org/Thread-For-Sale-Chel-Ministick-extender

Both have been cloned thou.. So watch out.

all good. thanks again :)
it's perfect for me with a kfl. should last all day and smaller than a 20 deck of fags
