Why can horses just **** everywhere?

Last time, I was walking on a pathway and went onto the street as the crap was all over the pavement...

People pick up their dogs crap, why can horse riders just get away with it?

It also annoys me when you see a horse rider on the road who is creating traffic, I mean seriously can't they just transport horses to the country and ride away from the roads?

BTW Do they even pay tax?

errrehfdhkshlafhkjsafdhka How many times do people have to be reminded it's an emissions tax. Cyclists should not pay it. Horse riders do not pay it. Car drivers with low emission cars do not pay it. Unless you want payment for farts...

Horse poo around where I was brought up was like gold dust. People would run out of their houses with their spades to scoop it up. Great for roses.

But then I was brought up when people didn't moan about anything and everything.

I buy horse manure from farms and dump it on roads just to **** drivers off.
Then i scour the internet looking for threads like this one and have a wee chuckle

Dunno but when I lived in London I seriously considered the merits of riding a horse to work from Camden to LIverpool Street. There was a handy fence outside work to tie it too and it'd beat taking the Northern line at rush hours. Plus reckon the ladies would love it

Plus when well trained you could have it take you home after a few beers (drunk in charge of horse?)

Such hyperbole. You make it sound like roving gangs of horse riders are dragging drivers from their vehicles or something.

A minor inconvenience? Yes.
A "menace"? No.

I live in an area with where they are plenty of stables nearby, and 99% of horses on the roads are ridden sensibly and courteously, and they have just as much (probably more) right to use the road as you do in a car. If you can't accept that basic premise which you should have learnt when you were taking your driving lessons, then frankly, you are more of a menace than any horse, because the attitude that you deserve more road space than other road users just because you have a car can end up being quite dangerous.

Exactly! Horse crap you can atleast see from a distance away, dog crap creeps up on you until the very last moment, and by then it's too late.

Then you waste 10 minutes destroying a patch of grass.

Came across a horse on a busy road the other day. So much traffic coming the other way that with them slowing to pass the horse the queue was just getting longer, let alone the queue behind me wanting to overtake the horse and continue their journey. Took at least 5 minutes to get around having covered all of about 50 meters.

I wish they'd atleast pull off the road for a bit when they can clearly see both sides of the road queueing up to let a few cars past. At least when I'm out cycling I barely cause any traffic disruption, travelling faster and cars just pass like I'm not even there sometimes. I also poo on the road less often

I've never understood this. I can understand that it wouldn't be ideal to carry a shovel and a bin bag every time you go riding. But they should at least have some service which will later following the route the riders took and clear up the mess they left.

Makes it unpleasant having to walk past stuff like this.

No, you pay for the car to be on the road and pollute the atmosphere. You are free wot walk on the road without paying a penny.

Take a poo in the middle of a road in public, see how free you are then.


Stuff be dangerous, cows trampling muck all over the road too, turns like sheet ice with the morning dew. Knew someone nearly got killed (in a car, miraculously there was only the driver because how it was after nobody else was coming out of there in the same number of bits they went in).

Probably some ancient by law, like shooting welshmen with longbows or whipping street urchins when you're bored or something makes it legal.
