What sides can I have?

I've got a couple of rather large scotch eggs made with black pudding instead of sausagemeat. Quite unusual.

What could go with them to make a dinner? The usual things like chips and rice dont really seem to fit.

I believe they are known as Manchester eggs and sure I saw them on master chef the other week.

As for something to go with them, they are more just a snack or starter, so probably just serve with a nice tomato and red pepper chutney

Caesar salad with black pudding 'croutons' is also pretty awesome. Get them nice and crispy in some bacon fat ftw!
