Less than $150/£115

Seems weird how they'd require a 8-pin PCI-E when the main selling point of the 750/Ti was that it could be powered entirely from the slot.

Some 750 Ti cards do have an additional 6 or 8 pin connector, it's probably to enable better overclocking. An additional 8 pin is no biggie for most users anyway.

Funny the way that on the other wccftech chart it says a 6pin power connector.
Being that the 960 only requires a 6 pin connector, I expext this will be the same.

The 960 was meh, now something that's even more meh.

You found GTX 960 was a meh?

It surprised more people owned GTX 960 as it overtake GTX 980 in June accorded to Steam June 2015 survey and GTX 970 is number 2 just behind Intel HD Graphics 4000. :D

Geforce 900 series June 2015

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 5.54% 6,925,000
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 1.74% 2,175,000
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 1.44% 1,800,000
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M 0.40% 500,000
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M 0.24% 300,000
NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN X 0.10% 125,000
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M 0.08% 100,000
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M 0.06% 75,000
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 940M 0.04% 50,000

Total 9.64% 12,050,000 owners

One thing missing of course is GTX 980 Ti not showed up in Steam database yet since launched in 2 June 2015, hopefully both GTX 980 Ti and Fury X could show up in July survey.

Nvidia definitely should have released something like a GTX 960Ti, there's a decent sized gap between the 960 and the 970. Mostly because the 960 was so poor.

Think Nvidia will release either GTX 960 Ti or GTX 965 in Sept. Here was a leaked 3DMark benchmark months ago showed Fury X, Fury, GTX 980 Ti and GTX 960 Ti or GTX 965 scores.

TDP for 750 TI is 60W according to Nvidia so that could be why. This is a faster card than the 750TI looking at the figures.

The 750 Ti is a nice little card, I hope this (or a 950 Ti) are good successors.
Actually the 960 should already had been the successor for the 750Ti, but they just decided that they can sell at higher price if it was labelled as 960 instead of 950...

Got a strong feeling the 950 would most likely be not much faster than the 750Ti or there about...probably around 7850 level's performance.

I kind of want a 950, for my machine at work to play games on.

I'm currently using my laptop, under the desk connected to the monitor etc, and it only has a 650m GDDR5. I want to put a new box together from spares, and I'm looking at either this or the 750ti really.

Either one would be a decent upgrade for me to be honest, but spending the cash on a 960 seems silly.
