It's not as though black socks are exclusive. Looking down on people for not having a Rolls Royce is retarded... criticising sock choice is different.

maybe he had a white suit!
So you're suggesting white trainer socks with a sit are on trend/will soon be on trend? It's not exactly a compelling argument to excuse poor choices by playing the fashion card... when the trend-setter is a badly dressed estate agent (otherwise known as an estate agent, if we're trying to avoid being tautologous).
Socks? Inside shoes?
Bloody ridiculous. What a savage!
Like I said, that's not a compelling argument with regards to this scenario/instance.
He sounds like an odious man. Why go to all that effort to look smart and then ruin it?!

Did the White trainer socks have a negative impact on him doing his job?
We are still in the process of trying to sell our house and yesterday we invited round a new estate agent and this young guy turned up, about 23/24, to have a look round. He was very smartly attired - expensive-looking dark grey suit, waistcoat, crisp white shirt and polished black shoes - and seemed to rate himself a bit with some justification I guess, he was tanned and had a David Beckham-esque mop of blond hair.
When he came in he offered to take his shoes off. I wouldn't have said yes but my wife did and this lad eased his smart shoes off to reveal flipping white socks.
It got worse though. When he later sat down to make some notes, you could see that they were white trainer socks! With his flash suit and shoes!!
Am I just too far behind modern fashion?
Buy disposable shoe covers, or have black socks which aren't fluffy? I mean, it's not as though white ones can't be fluffy.
