Anyone heard much about this phone? Can be had for £125 pay as you go from Vodafone, specs look pretty good especially for that price and with Sony build quality.

Screen type IPS
Front camera 5 megapixels
Rear camera 13 megapixels

Seriously tempted to pick one of these up at that price.

As Kona says it's a bargain at that price if you are happy with Vodafone. I set one up for my dad a few weeks ago and it seemed like a nice phone with a good screen and decent build quality.

I'd buy a previous years flagship a galaxy s4 is less than £130 on ebay and s3 lte's for less than £100 both new I guess the other manufacturers previous offerings are similarly priced.

Can get an LG G2 or an Xperia Z1 for about £130 second hand which are probably better options to be fair.

An have no warranty on the device, no doubt a poor battery like most os the S3 range have, not worth it tbh, Brand new phone, better build quality than a Samsung and no worries if it goes wrong.

The phones I quoted were brand new and I suggested other manufacturers too.

Mid range phones are a fools game either spend £400 on a flagship or sub hundred on a cheap phone.

Nonsense !! There are loads of great phones between £100 and £200.

Lumia 640 or 640 XL
Moto G
Alcatel One Touch Idol 3

etc etc etc

But do they offer anything over a sub £100 Chinese phone? Spec wise obviously no and performance wise no so we are left with warranty and from reading the Chinese phones thread that's no problem either.

I'll be honest and admit I didn't include windows in my thinking but I was replying to the op, in my initial post, who was talking android.

They can offer you much better firmware/os support, thats important to a lot of people.

Ok but if I of all people can manage google is your friend and I thought the big names gave their low to mid range devices very poor support, I could very well be wrong, all my poorer mates and kids there of are very happy with their sub £100 Chinese phones.

I was pleasantly shocked at the quality of the £65 Timmy E86 a real bang for the buck bargain.
