From what i can tell those 2 holes are where the coils wick holes are, so if the juice goes much below those i imagine it will start burning cotton.
Put rhubarb and custard back in the naut but wasnt the same. So ive thought ok im gona wash it all out, seperate the naut in to bits and try the spare coil i have that came in the box. So washed it for half a hour as in soak in the bathroom sink in warm/hot water not hot but well u know. Gave em a drying and blowing to get trapped dropplets out of the base and top. Put some tissue in the bottom part of the tank so anything in there gets drawn into the tissue and then wrapped em all together in one doubled over kitchen towel and put in the fork and knife draw as dunno where else to put it lol.
Hope this returns the nice flavours i got first time.
My thought is, i was chain vaping too much and overheated somit and it ruined the coil and or juice. So hopefully i got all the crap out from the wash and im gona try devlisious custard next i think.
Btw u cant burn a coil out by chain vaping can u or can u with long draws at about 13w? As when i started getting the powdery taste in my mouth from vaping since i put that damn vanilla custard in the tank i was constantly trying diff w from 8 to 14/15 to get taste back and trying diff air holes all the time. I really am crap with settings for this too low like 8w and no vapor really unless u take a slow draw for 10 sec or somit lol which i wont do and high like 14 i get a wet taste if that means anything its not as bad as a dry draw as 10w and maybe a hint of flav but i think i was just not doing it right.
I suck at this.. Much prefer if i had a vaping buddy that was more experienced that lived near by. But i dont.
How long u reckon i should keep the parts of my naut mini drying for?

provari's are stupidly cheap on the second hand market, I picked a mini 2.5 for £40 a few weeks back and I've seen them go cheaper. If it's doesn't subohm people ain't interested now a days. I would suggest placing a WTB ad up, as most people cba with the effort of trying to sell something that ain't cool any more.

Anyway the acrylic threading on my Taifun GT tank snapped yesterday on the way to work and spurted liquid all over me. Due to this I bought a pack of fags and absolutely bloody hated them which is good i guess.
Onto the point of the story, I decided to get the plume veil out last night and spent about 2 hours getting the coils right etc....all I can say is WOW at 0.4 ohms and 40W. what an amazing vape, I really should not of been so quick to dismiss it. Mind it does drink the juice!

So today I managed to drop my 50w Istick with my ST mini on to concrete, good news all seems to be fine (had some leakage from the ST but that seemed to be from the wick shifting from the jolt), bad news half the display on my Istick is now dead (im unsure if this is a broken display or something has just moved inside the case covering half the screen), anyway, I was looking on FT for a replacement and cant decide wether to just go for a straight Istick 50w replacement or look for something else.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I am looking to avoid mechanical mods if possible as from what I can tell some can be really temperamental when it comes to coil rebuilds, I normally vape at around 25w - 30w so I figure 50w gives me some head room if I want to play around but am willing to go for more if its fairly decent for around the same price as the Istick (£23 ish from FT).

You can get replacement glass parts like the original and totally different ones like a shorty kit or bellcap for the tiafun.
If it's the tiafun 1, the KFL+ will be a good replacement.. Nice tight draw.
If it's the tiafun 2, has to be the squape rs, airflow for days..
Budget rec would be the goblin mini at the moment, but of a pain to build but does both MTL and direct lung very well.
P4U IPV D2... No one has one yet but on paper it looks very good for £30, I would recommend getting a separate battery charger and not using the built in one. But an yihi chip with 75w and TC for under £30.. It's a no brainer..

I came third place in a draw on the DIY liquid UK group, 2x 30ml of concentrates for free, awesome! Went for cinnamon coffee and apple pie, fancied trying something I've not used before and the cinnamon coffee is a bit adventurous

Goliath 2 turned up this morning. I've stuck a dual-coil ti build in there and it's vaping nicely. It's a very airy draw more akin to a dripper than a tank. Looks good too. There's not a lot of room to build on in there without shorting against the chimney so I'd think ni200 is right out.
It was a complete sod to take apart though. The o-ring that seals the build deck is too thick making it require super-human strength (had to use a vice) to take apart. I've replaced it with a thinner item now and it seems much better. No leaks and I can easily disassemble it.

I probably should have consulted you guys before pressing the buy button, but anyway I would appreciate some advice. I currently vape off an itaste MVP 2 and have just been using the basic iclear 16 atomisers.
Recently I seem to be burning through wicks at an alarming rate, after 4ml of juice in some cases and I'm normally on lower voltages of between 3.7 and 4 so I'm not exactly roasting things in there. Switched to a Kanger T3D which is lower resistance and it seems better but is still very harsh. I'm still vaping the same juice I always use so I'm wondering if maybe the battery is at fault?
I've just ordered a Kanger Subbox mini with subtank mini anyway as it got good reviews and I think I'll try this sub ohm malarky.
A few noob questions though:
Am I correct in assuming that sub ohm is only for inhaling straight to your lungs? And anything over 1ohm is for "normal" smoking style?
I never seem to produce anywhere near the amount of vapour that the YouTube reviewers etc seem to get, is this because they are sub ohm vaping or am I doing something wrong?
I currently go through about 3-4ml of juice a day, will the new tanks and sub ohm go through more juice compared to my current setup? If so how much?

The subbox is a great combo. Enjoy it. You will need to drop your nic content to 6mg or lower though.

I may have to find a new source of juice though as my local vape shop only does 12mg (which I use) or 0mg. Currently vape locally made Dragons Juice which is fruity with a menthol kick, is anyone able to recommend a good similar juice? Mostly VG preferred though I'm not sure what the mix is in my current juice.

Ignore the youtube reviewers, they use camera tricks like blowing directly into the camera and have juices mixed up for them to look and produce more vapers. I don't associate the amount of vapor I can produce, and I can produce an awful lot to how good the vape is..
Try green crack at vaper z, its a sour apple and slime at vaping king, that's a fuzzing lime. Secret Garden is meant to be good/better; not tried it myself yet but I've just ordered some. Vaping King's Cherry bomb is good, its cherry menthol but not as good as t-juice's red astaire but a lot cheaper. People love the bean flicker and jester's juice but I found them meh...

I'm sitting here using the uta on the rdna 40 vaping slime and I really don't know why I keep buying gear.. It's perfectly fine for what it does, and I never used to buy different cigs to 'try'. I think a lot of it is down to fags all nearly being the same and vaping gear acts differently with different setups and juices. I think it's because we enjoy different styles of vaping. I enjoy both sub ohming and MTL, mechs and ww/wv... so I seem to have kit that's suited for each type and keep trying different stuff to see if its better. I'm just lucky that I don't do genies and squoking.. else I would have twice as much stuff.
