Newcastle mass murder plot - no terrorism ere mate

Apologies I didn't read that post. I simply read the post in which you quoted me. I tend to skim a lot of posts as threads on here often derail at a moments notice!:p

No need to apologise. It's only a forum - not like it matters or (generally) we know each other is it!

And skim reading is why I keep to things that I know well or just being generally flippant; less expenditure of effort for something that is a time-killer whilst doing other more 'important' things.

(I am not even sure flippantry is a word but if it isn't it should be)

It's cool. I do like to apologise though if I have picked up something wrong. No point being a tool even if it is only a forum.

I totally agree and I do the same and I am happy to be corrected. Apologies are generally free unless they are made in divorce proceedings and in that case they get expensive really quick and are best undertaken after advice from someone very familiar with the law. Despite what Mr Sliver insinuates I don't really care about who is right more what is right. I find it serves me best. Most people though tend to leave the thread when proven wrong.

Again with the slurs. You got mugged off, accept it and move on. This constant digging to save face is embarrassing.

yawn - leave it out. Just add me to ignore it will be nicer for you and others. That way you won't feel the compulsion to always reply. Go it's there just add ignore - no hassles then.

You give up so easily. I'm not adding you to ignore. I feel no need to. But as you brought it up maybe you should add me to ignore as I'm clearly too hot handle for you. ;)

Maybe you 2 should get a room? I sense a lot of sexual tension:p

Now I believe, and I am willing to stand corrected, that sexual tension happened a whilst ago between Sliver and Castiel or at least was suggested in a thread some time back. Unfortunately, Castiel did a disappearing act which may actually suggest Sliver is indeed too hot to handle.

I got the sarcasm in that post. I'm learning!

Whatever happened to Castiel anyway?

Did he get too wound up about something? I know he went through that cancer scare before he quit? I seem to remember something but can't remember what actually happened?

He couldn't handle people disagreeing with him. At least that was my take on it. He would just pedantically argue a point into the ground even when he wasn't correct. I actually made up with him about a month before he left. I found out he was ill and took him off my ignore list (he was the only one on it) and I reached out to him and he reached back. We were briefly friends and then after a few weeks he quit the forum. He was a fine debater in some ways but terrible in other ways. His unwillingness to address or concede a point that was contrary to his and demonstrably correct was his undoing in my opinion. He just rubbed too many people up the wrong way. Including the admins it would seem as they stripped him of his MOH status when he quit.
