Best way to spend £550

I've currently got

i5 2500k
Gtx 760
8 gig 1600mhz corsair vengeance

Is it worth spending all the money upgrading the gpu to a 980 ti, or getting a 980 and 16 gig of faster memory?

Choosing between a 980 and 980ti is a no brainer really considering the price difference. Go with the 980ti.

More or faster memory will not make games noticeably quicker at all.

980Ti.

Lots of debate on RAM but 8GB of 1600 is enough. CPU is "within reason" equal to modern i5's.

GPU for sure but don't forget to overclock your cpu to pull the neck of the system and gain some more fps

What cooler do you have at the moment for cpu?

If it's a stock intel upgrade that and get a 980ti along with overclocking the cpu.
