huey flight from the weekend - this is the only operational Huey in the UK that was involved in the Vietnam / USA conflict.

The flight was a prize at a charity auction from 8 years ago

The video is a first upload and I know I need to edit a little - shot with a Gopro 4 black using a handheld gimbal.

It looks more spacious than the "smaller" helicopters i've been in, I might even be able to sit properly :P

Other than that... They don't quiet look right with doors and safety signs everywhere.

Can't have the punters falling out whilst sitting with their legs hanging out firing that machine gun.

I will watch the video later when not at work. But I do hope you took the opportunity to hum Ride of The Valkyries and tell the pilot that you love the smell of napalm in the morning?

Dissapointed you didn't put this on the video as a backing track.

Seen that Huey at East Fortune Air show the other weekend there complete with Wagner Ride of the Valkyries over the PA. First time I had seen a Huey, Has a very distinctive sound. On my way home it flew overhead right over my friends car on it's way to Edinburgh Airport, Not something you hear and see everyday as you drive along.

I've downloaded Wagner ride of the Valkyries for when I have ago at editing - we were able to fly over where I work and a few of the guys came out when they heard the Huey getting close, it would have been so tempting to fire a few thousand rounds at them as they looked like very Disciplined VC.

We did make a few subtle hints about having the side doors open with us in a gunners position but we got turned down due to it being a stupid idea.

This and the lock flew over Ashton in Makerfield on Saturday. Couldn't quite make them out but after seeing this makes sense now. Nice one :)

that's cool, UK military still has a few for their jungle warfare school

top tip for what not to do in a military helicopter - don't pass a note to the pilot saying "bet you can't scare us" - they can!

don't see what is stupid about it, you're strapped in right?

I've flown in a Sea King plenty of times with the door open...

What an awesome machine! I used to see another registered G-HUEY at an airfield I used to frequent often. Such an incredible noise as it takes off!
