Hi all, I have read that the Enthoo Primo has a width restriction for its bottom 360/480mm radiators, and I saw someone mention the XE 360 wont fit, but the width of that radiator is 130mm, and the Phanteks website says radiators even wider than 140mm will fit, so does anyone have the XE in the bottom of their Primoo and can confirm it fits fine? thank you :)

Yeh I guess the XE 360 wont fit then, but I can just go with another brand radiator then without any issues right? just a thinner rad for the bottom :)

It will fit, i've had a dry run with my rx480 which is 130mm.

I unscrewed the optical bay side panel and removed to get it in & removed the lower grommet.

Then bent the side panel a small amount by hand, which you car'nt tell btw, then bend the small tab at the bottom that the panel screws to and its all good ;)

Not right to have to bend stuff to get it to do what they say. I flat out refused to modify the case.

I agree, but you can not tell its been modded.

Just looked in the user manual, it says up to 145mm in width on the bottom rad
bracket. But no mention of max width of longer rads with no rad bracket.

Its a shame those are the lengths you have to go to use wider rads, but just popping in a Coolgate which is a slimmer rad wont make a difference will it? :)

No, its just all the top rads seem to be 130mm or more going off reviews.
The coolgate will be fine minuscule difference in temps.

Yeh when im going with a 480 and a 240, the 360 being a different maybe slightly less performing radiator shouldnt hopefully make too much difference, it should be well cooled with all of that in it I hope, thank you :)

Edit: Seth, can you take a picture of what you had to do to get your 130mm radiator to fit though please? if it isnt too much trouble i'd still go with the EK and just make it fit, thank you :)

Yeh no probs, just give 30 mins to upload pics.

Remove the side panel of the drive bay, 2 screws on the underside rest are easy to see.

Remove lower grommet, sit rad in for dry run.

Bend side panel a little, easy tho as i think it will just kink with to much force.
This is how much i bent it.

Bend little tab at the bottom straight that the side panal srcews to and replace panel.

Just leave the bottom 2 screws the screw uphill out.
Excuse the dust, bedroom is a building site at the moment :o

That actually seems really easy to do and I cant imagine it being noticeable at all! probably worth it for a better 360 rad then, that looks like no more than a 10 minute job :) thank you!

No problemo, glad to be of help.

Phanteks should have just made it with 135mm clearance to start with, other than that its brill for water cooling.

Going to gut the bottom out of mine, seal all around the bottom and cut a 480mm rad size hole in the desk. Then filter the desk :D
