I need a new Android phone fast as I've broken my old one.
Had a first generation Moto G which was suprisingly good coming from an iPhone.
Previously only used my phone for whats app, email, listening to music at the gym, and some pics, so the Moto G was perfect for me.
I either want a similar phone (not the same)
OR
Now that my tablet is on its last legs I'm thinking of going phone plus laptop rather than phone, laptop and tablet - o a more capable phone.

I can get hold of a Samsung S6 for about £370 new but its still a lot of money.
My alternative in the more budget area is to go for a Samsung S4 which I can get for £195 new (Samsung S5 at £295), but wondered if it will outdate very quickly.
Any help or advice would be be great.
Cheers

I'd go for a second hand S4 / S5 for ~£150 with some good accessories if I could find it or one of those new Vodafone Smart Ultra 6 new for £125. My wife still uses an S4 and it's flawless though she does want to get an Iphone 5c now as she thinks it's "cute" :(

S4 is still a capable phone, I had mine replaced with a new unit at the end of its 2 year cycle. The only thing I didn't like about it......Lollipop and the battery.

Cheers for that. Does the S4 still get Android updates? I forgot to say in my initial post, but I also need bluetooth 4. Is £195 a decent price for it new?

It received 5.0.1, I would hope it would get 5.1, as for Android M - doubt it but that's what XDA is for ;)
