Which manufacture supports their BIOS the longest?

I wanted my next upgrade to include a Gigabyte board, but it looks like Asus may offer better/longer support.

Has anyone got experience? - I've never owned an Asus board

I've always favoured Gigabyte, mainly because of customer service and UK based RMA centre etc. But not having used Asus before, I can't really compare.

both are just as good, asus release few bios's,gigabyte tend to release more regular inc a lot of beta bios's

both should be well supported for a long time

I have both an asus z68 board and a gigabyte z77 board and no issues regarding compatibility with either regarding bios

Gigabyte every time.

Had loads of them over the years and never let me down.

Plus the RMA support is in the UK.

I would not touch a Anus board.
