So I JUST Upgraded to windows 10 on my laptop...and the mouse pad wasnt working nor clicking. So i followed these instructions..i found online..
Go to
1. Start (Windows Button)
2. Settings
3. Devices
4. Mouse & Touchpad
5. Scroll down to Related Settings and click "Additional mouse options"
6. When the mouse properties window pops up, click on the ELAN tab
7. Click your device and click "Enable".
For some reason, it was disabled when I upgraded to Windows 10 yesterday. It may be that the "disable when external USB . . plug in" was check, which I never selected.
Mouse starts to work..but I cannot click on anything at all, and when i restart it..the settings go back to normal and mouse pad stops working...anyone know the fix?
