You used £95 of gas in June last year, but we are billing you a year later...no its electric, £95 of electric...no gas...nope definitely electric..did we say electric ? soz meant gas. Its £16..no nothing..you owe us nothing. We are taking you to court. We aren't. You are an Eon customer.

they are indeed.

I do my parents meter reading weekly and npower decided that £35pm for dual fuel direct debit was not enough, even though always in credit, they raised it to £90

Phoned them up to say this is not the case and the drones on the other end said yep £90 is recommended on usage and we will refund what is surplus (even though they had solar panels fitted last year and so the usage graphs for electricity are considerably less).

Politely told them where to go and they put it back to £35pm.

Yup that first post rang true to me, Npower would like to be a set of clowns as it would be a step up from the crap they actually are.

npower have been fine for me tbh

Recently moved house, 6 day overlap with previous owners supplier before npower could take over, get a bill for the 6 days for £276 !!!!! went back to eon (previous owners supplier) and they said get in contact with your supplier, did all that, get a new bill from eon for £5.62, I wonder how many people get caught out by that one.

Been with nPower twice in 10 years, both times had horrendous billing issues and awful customer service. Other people I know personally have said the same.

Never had a single problem with EDF, British Gas, Scottish Power however.

Yep, both myself and mother in law have had identical problems this year.

Before renewing supply they tell us both we are paying too much. Reduce to half we was both paying. They then send a bill for £280 to me £600+ to theirs.

Luckily it was easily paid but it does make me think about the poor older generation that get suckered by this.

Npower has been an unmitigated disaster for me. I didn't get a bill for the first year and the online system didn't work. I called many times to log it, they said someone would get back to me, nothing.

Recently my bill more than doubled. I queried it and they said 'Oh, we've been billing your usage only, not your balance'. Dreadful.

I believe Npower use the same billing system as Scottish Power, a highly complex system that just doesn't work.

How either company are allowed to operate is beyond me.

I shouldn't laugh but that's actually quite wittily written
