Nvidia's gaming chips drive surprise rise in revenue

Honestly, I jumped on a Titan X. If my card wasn't DOA and the RMA wasn't a joke I'd have still had one. Instead I got two 980Ti's for a little bit extra. Both of which I would have forgone for two Fury X's if they launched sooner.

It was all timing for me and when I was getting my system up and running. My previous cards were AMD ones and I'd have use them again.

I think NV's rise is both because of their current strong line up, and because AMD's Fiji launch was a mess. The cards themselves are great, but there are manufacturing issues with those darn pumps, and lack of supply. :(

+1, AMD really have wreaked it with they Fury X launch, just terrible, which is a shame because the actual card, if you can get one without the whine is fantastic, cool quiet and as fast as a 980Ti.

But i must say i think nvidia's revenue results are well deserved, they've launched some brilliant cards and had very little issues, the 980 SC's that i had are still the best all round graphics card package i've ever used.

What i don't what though is for AMD to fall behind further, Fury X on DX12 and windows 10 is awesome, need to sort this Fury X launch business out and just move on, get their heads down, i want to see a full on battle between team green and red, pushing the limits which will benefit us all.
