Alternatives to Media center TV in W10

Hi, is there an alternative to media center for windows 10. Media center is the only software that picks up my TV Dongle. Its a Compro usb dongle Their own software has never worked for me, but media center was no fuss detects it and sorts all the tv settings. Haven"t upgraded to 10 cause this is one of the issues holding me back as I use the PC for TV signals from my Ariel on the roof to watch telly on one of my triple screens whilst i do internet stuff on the others.

i've been using NextPVR, but its more suited to a remote than a mouse/kb

Try MediaPortal , its like Kodi but supports tv tuners. Thats what i am using in Win10 at the mo its ok and looks nice but i keep losing the epg

get the xml tv plugin + the xml radiotimes program

There's a thread in the Windows 10 section here. You'll likely get the same responses here that were in that one. But yeah, really it depends on whether you just want to replace the Windows Media Center's TV viewing/recording ability (I posted my set up in that thread) or whether you want a full media centre replacement.

Get the DVB Viewer trial and see if it picks up the tuner and go from there.

Thanks guys ill look at that thread and start working through the choices see which works best for me.
