Hello
I recently purchased the TP Link WD 9980 and the TP-LINK TL-PA8030P KIT AV1200, these together total around £130/140 and so for the price I could have also gotten a single Asus DSL-AC68U.
My question - is the single router better than the powerline? My TP Link does not reach as far as the bedroom (upstairs) that the PC is situated in and probably wouldn't get me 38mbps either.
I do feel slightly conned paying 80 for a powerline but getting a builder to drill holes into my house and wiring cat 5e through the outside into my room would have also been a bigger hassle. Does the asus router have range that would cover double/triple the 9980s?
