** WEEKEND INSANITY AT OcUK: GTX 980 SUB £350 & R9 390 8GB SUB £240 !!!

She was actually fine, I'm building a new pc so it's not too bad.....about 100 more than I thought I was going to spend though.
 
That's the trouble, I've just spent £300 in total for the Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 and I'm hugely conflicted weather I can spend another £50 for the strix

does the r9 390 take up more than 2 slots? and can you extend this deal until Thursday aka payday?
 
Going to buy a 4k 34 inch monitor, have a 2500k i5. Will I be bottle necked by my cpu if I buy the 980?? Will it be enough of an upgrade for 4k gaming ??

Which card though? Not sure I could live with AMD driver support (or utter lack of!) and on point 4. I've never once had an issue with SLI other than with Arkham Knight so SLI support isn't something I worry about.

In your case (geddit) I'd buy the Asus 980 and sell the 670's to offset some of the cost.
