Has anyone got SLI support working with HOS? Seems like it was pulled from the later driver branches and not put back in again ?

Blizzard games are notoriously terrible with multi-card solutions, afaik WoW still doesn't have it, or if it does it's usually only for a short while. Unfortunately, for all its bank, Blizzard is really behind in tech.

All Blizzard games are entirely CPU dependant, and terrible with multi-gpus.

Even with my setup I can droop into the low 30's and sometimes even lower depending on the raid of amount of people in PvP.

HotS dosn't need dual card setup lol. Its requirements are low and can easily get high FPS on high settings.

On extreme settings in 1080p I run around 110fps single card on a 980 with Hydrocopper BIOS going around 1500/2000.

When things get busy my FPS drops crazy.

ok thanks for replying. I am not alone !

I am sorry but if you cant run hos on one gpu you need to think about upgrading....

It will run fine in extreme settings in 1080p but the FPS drops are massive. I guess its the Anti-A doing the damage to the FPS and so an additional GPU would help keep the FPS locked at 120.

Blizzard is king of casuals, their support for multi-core cpu's is still pretty terrible so it wouldn't surprise me if they don't support SLI.

Had a lot of problems hitting 144fps on that game when I tried it, with a 970 and 4GHz quad core. L0L

Just play LoL or DotA 2, both are far superior MOBA games.

That's your CPU buckling under the strain of calculating all of that AI, strategy games for years are notorious for this (try Supreme Commander if you get a chance).

You do realise there is very simple A.I. at work in HotS right? In fact, there's no calculation, as minions spawn automatically and follow a pre-determined path. The only thing they might 'calculate' is what enemy to hit (i.e. detect nearest). This is simply Blizzard optimization, or rather, the complete lack of it for high-end setups.

Try forged alliance they added multi core/thread support. Vastly superior performance and no more 4h game time 8h realtime games.

Supcom is a epoc game

It's not a strategy game, it's five a side PVP MOBA
It's built on the SC2 engine with the same logic around client-side deterministic pathfinding etc and with the same performance profile so it is much more limited by CPU & network than by GPU so working on multi-GPU support would be pretty pointless.
