Best 120mm fans for Rad?

Just wondering what are considered the best 120mm fans for radiators at the moment with low sound + good static pressure performance?

I've not used PWM fans before but I know I can easily run them off my Aquaero 5 Pro no problem. Just not sure what the advantage is (if any) over the usual 3 pin variants?

I do know I like to run my fans as quiet as possible with my rads as I don't like noise, bit of silent freak! lol

Cheers

:)

No, Unfortunately the SGT's are no longer available, unless you want to import them from USA.

Are the EK Vadar fans as quiet? The Sycthes are whisper quiet.

GT are now being produced by dark side, but are not cheap. It's seems that best all round SP and noise is GT, Noctura F12 and EK Vardar in that order based on research I did on this subject on the net. However, this does seem to be a very subjective topic from what I found.

Im using the Noiseblocker NB-eLoop Fan B12-3 in my build and although they seem to shift planty of air they need to be controlled as are too loud at stock.

May replace them with something alittle slower rpm.

Well I'm thinking the Vardar might be worth a try. I don't need my fans screaming as I've got plenty of cooling power with a 480mm Monsta + 420mm UT60.

Out of the Vadar fans would the 1450rpm be the best all rounder? On the specs it says:

PWM Duty Cycle: 50-100%

So I take it that means it's lowest RPM for the 1450 version will be 725rpm? That would bug me at idle, I like it as quiet as possible.

Would the 1150rpm be better then as that would be 575rpm or am I missing something here with these PWM fans?

I would have them hooked up to my Aquaero on the PWM output so would have plenty of tweak ability.

Whilst on the subject of the Vadars the 140mm version came out this week as well!

The price isn't too bad considering, I said I wasn't going to buy anymore fans...

The GT's are still the best fan I've ever used in a PC.

Get the F4-120ER, goes down to ~350-400 RPM easily.

I've recently installed Noctua NF-S12B Redux fans, the 700's are whisper quiet at 700rpm, literarily cannot hear them above my normal system noise on an external MO-RA3. Downside I had 9 running but had thermal issues so replaced 3 with NF-S12B 1200's which are slightly nosier but obviously can be controlled by a fan controller.
