Neil Armstrong claims he's been to the Moon but has never been to Rhyl. Definitely something dodgy going on there.
He made the case for his own ignorance of Christian theology. I am sure in his own mind he thought he was saying something new and original, but these are issues that have been discussed and explained for the best part of two thousand years.
In short: the horrible things in the world are a consequence of our sin. God created us a paradise and we ruined it. He doesn't generally interfere in our daily lives because we have free will, and that means we've the freedom to experience the bad and the good.

Nothing Fry said disproves God or even the Christian view of God. He sometimes says interesting things, but in that case I just thought 'What a plonker'.

The fact we haven't been back to the moon is probably why some people doubt we ever went there. Plus, it was a pretty heroic feat in the first place.
I am always disappointed by how little investment the world has made in space exploration. Ah well, maybe by the time I'm sixty we'll be a bit further forward.
