I found out something about my fiance and her family and I don't know what to do...

or poo through your own letterbox

leave evidence on the floor then insist it never happened.... insist on a conspiracy if anyone mentions it

Send Cosimo and Spook187 to beat some intelligence into them with the plethora of space memorabilia they both own :p

:)

To be honest you just have to give up on these people who think the moon landing was faked, i have talked red in the face to people who will just not give up, even with all the evidence we have that it's all happened they just won't back down, they are just screwballs.

I'm shocked you posted this, does it really matter that much to you? People will believe what they want, regardless of 'proof' or what other people think.

Drop it and move on...

People believe in conspiracy theories oh noooooooo.....

People believe in certain religions oh noooooooooo.......

OP, let people have their own opinion and stop being so ignorant and dismissive to anything you don't agree with. This thread is far more stupid than your perhaps soon to be wife and in laws opinions.

Edit- now realise OP was joking around a bit with this thread so my above comment is a tad harsh...

It's meant to be a light-hearted and amusing thread, take your black cloud and vamoosh! :p

I think she was genuine.

Joking aside, it's not that much of a big deal, I was just shocked that I never knew before today! What other secrets is she hiding! :D

My fiancé is Catholic too but no where near like her Mother is! The woman won't do anything because she believes that God is guiding her and he will tell her what to do with her life :o

It's worth noting that the soon to be Mother-In-Law is Catholic so most likely still believes the Earth is flat... I haven't the courage to ask her.

I'm not even sure a devoute catholic could beleive that ... since it was never even argued that the world was ever flat, by catholics, greeks or anyone for that matter.

The myth of the flat Earth is the modern misconception that the prevailing cosmological view during the Middle Ages in Europe saw the Earth as flat, instead of spherical.[1]

During the early Middle Ages, virtually all scholars maintained the spherical viewpoint first expressed by the Ancient Greeks. From at least the 14th century, belief in a flat Earth among the educated was almost nonexistent, despite fanciful depictions in art, such as the exterior of Hieronymus Bosch's famous triptych The Garden of Earthly Delights, in which a disc-shaped Earth is shown floating inside a transparent sphere.[2]

Call the wedding off mate, they are morons. I think if some thick tit said that kind of stuff to me, mother/father in-law or not, I'd HAVE to break their nose.

Haha, this is classic, my other half doesn't believe in the moon landing either!

Luckily she loves me even with my flaws so I'm happy to put up with hers :)

Also, "fine her £5" - amazing callback! :D

The fact we haven't been back to the moon is probably why some people doubt we ever went there. Plus, it was a pretty heroic feat in the first place.

I am always disappointed by how little investment the world has made in space exploration. Ah well, maybe by the time I'm sixty we'll be a bit further forward.

Get over it and move on; you can't reason with stupid.

But you can choose to not procreate with them.

The irony.
