Ok so I have decided that my pc is too loud. The temps aren't too bad but they could be better so I have decided to spend some money on finally water cooling my rig.

Spec wise I have

4770k
2x msi 970

Silverstone raven r2 case

From what I can see I can fit a single 540mm rad in the bottom of the case and a single 120mm rad on the top.

Could someone please spec me all the bits and bobs needed to water cool my processor and 2 graphics cards

I will require an all in one res and pump to put in the front 5.25 slots in the front.

I know an all in one isn't the best but I have limited space in the case at the moment for a non combo unit (plus a combo unit seems easier to work with)

From counting my pennies I have around £450 to spend

Do you want soft tubing or hard?

Colour Schemes?

Pics of setup as well should help.

Soft tubing with quick disconnects if possible.

Colour scheme I'm just looking at bog standard clear tubing and clear water.

Although I love the look of some of the setups with red and blue I prefer clear myself.

I am uploading a pic now

Ok do the fitting colours matter?

Also, quite note on the QDC's, don't buy the black Koolance QDC's, they gunk up from the various threads around it seems it's only the black ones that gunk up and will be stuck in the open position.

That's it at the moment. Sorry about the pic quality at the moment my pc is rendering a video and I don't want to move it just in case

At the bottom I can remove the fans and the dust covers and then place the radiator and put the fans back on

Fitting colours don't matter. Only want them to make maintenance easier

Need some more info on the GPU's.

Are those MSI GTX 970 G4 Gaming GPU's? What board revision if so?

Not sure on the board revision.

I bought them the a few days after they came out so probably the first one.

Also I have just checked again. After looking closely it would have to be a 2 fan radiator at the bottom and not a 3 fan one so a 360mm and not a 540mm

If you got it at launch they are all 1.1,1.3 didnt get introduced till after the new year

You can double check by peeking under the stock cooler if you have tossed the boxes as show below ;)

The boxes are long gone.

On the graphics card it just says msi gtx 970 4g.

I bought them on September the 21st last year. It was the second batch that overclockers received

update its 1.1

From what I can see, you are going to struggle, or at least be a squeeze.

From page 21 of the manual that I found for the Raven RV02 (if I've got the right one), it has 3x 180mm fans in the bottom, but you can only fit a 360mm (3x120) on top of the 2 rear ones using an adaptor with the drive bays interfering with having a longer one.

It also says that you are limited to a 30mm thick rad with 10.5" long expansion cards and I think the MSI GTX970 is 269mm long, which is about 10.6". There are rads thinner than 30mm like the Magicool G2 Slim at 27mm and the EK SE at 26mm.

I'm not sure if it will take a 120mm rad in the top either, might just be able to squeeze one in.

I will be removing the dust covers at the bottom which will give me around 5 or 6 mm extra to put a 35 mm rad.

At the moment I have a antec Kuhler 120mm in the top with 2 120mm fans attached to each side so I dont think that will be a problem.

It will be a squeeze but I have seen it being done before even with 3 580 gtx and the same cpu which as far as I can remember are hotter cards
