Hi guys sorry if this has been answered before.
I upgraded from 8.1 to 10 fine then i downloaded the iso for a clean install that's all good too, but now on the lower right hand corner of the screen it now says go to settings to active windows.

Activation: Windows is not activated? I tried the code from the windows faq for the home version didn't work neither did my 8.1 code.
I thought it just activities when you go online?

Did you make sure to download the right version .
Home or pro.

What version of Win 8.1 did you have.

You can not upgrade to Home then do a fresh install of Pro
 
I did a clean install after upgrading and it refused to activate after a week of trying. In the end I had to revert back to W8, upgrade again, confirm it had activated, take a copy of the key, then clean install with the key and it activated immediately.
 
Still not doing anything does it matter? i cant be asked to put 8.1 back then win10 again.
In the faq what is that Win home 10 code for?

Just been having a similar problem myself and had an online chat session with a MS support person who said they are currently having issues with activation and I should give it 48 hours. So I'd hold fire for a couple of days before you go nuclear on its arse.
